Debate

I was proud of Obama. He did what he had to do. He showed that he had a great command of the issues and he acted very presidential. Which is important because the independents are looking for a reason not to vote for Obama...sorry, I'm drinking gin.

touche 2BP. matty the blogger agrees. Very presidential indeed he seemed. though i found myself listening intently to Sen. McCain just to see what their fundamental differences are...

quite the interesting dichotomy is found. for at least the first part of the debate, I, the viewer, found myself asking over and over... would I want to vote for a candidate that wants to spend money to help the economy (within reasonable fiscal policy) or vote for a candidate that wants to cut spending money to help the economy (not including loot for veterans, etc.)...

other than being black, intelligent, progressive, ready for change, skeptical of the propensity of a 74 yr old to have health problems impairing him and leaving us at the command of a fellow 'maverick' who hasn't been to as many countries as I have... I'd say i'm interested in hearing the rest of what both candidates have to say so that I can make an informed and completly unbiased vote... for Obama.
